How many colours can I print?
Latex balloons can be printed in up to 8 spot colours - 1 side.  Foil balloons up to 6 spot colours - 1 or 2 sides.

Complex artwork
Complex full colour artwork consisting of photos or tonal areas (where colours merge into each other) can be achieved by applying a pre-printed self-adhesive medium to both sides of an 18” or 36” foil balloon. Please call 020 8274 8274 for a quotation.

Artwork & file types
Good printing results are achieved from suitable good quality/high resolution artwork supplied to us. Vectorised artwork (such as EPS files) produces the best results.
We accept the following file types: EPS, JPEG, PDF, PNG, Adobe PS & AI.

Balloon sizes & printable areas
Print can be applied on the main face of latex balloons to both sides (not a top print) and to both sides of foil balloon.
The print sizes below are approximate, dependent on the shape of the artwork and balloons are fully inflated to the recommended capacity.
10” Latex balloons – printable area is approx. 4” dia. circle
12” Latex balloons – printable area is approx. 5” dia. circle.
16” Latex balloons – printable area is approx. 8” dia. circle.
36” Latex balloons – printable area is approx. 14” dia. circle.
18” Foil balloons – printable area is approx. 8” dia. circle.
36” Foil balloons – printable area is approx. 14” dia. circle.

Orientation
Balloons are normally printed with the neck down ready for helium fill, can be printed with the neck up for air fill if required.

Proofs
On receipt of your suitable artwork, we will email a pre-production example/proof, so you can see how your balloon will look once printed. The proof must be approved by you in writing before printing can commence.

Payment
On receipt of your confirmed order, we will email you a confirmation invoice - payment must be received before printing commence.

Quality & recycling

• Balloons printed to the highest standards using tried and tested digital/silk-screen printing methods to produce sharp images of your artworks on 1 or 2 sides of the balloons.
• We use the best quality latex balloons - bio-degrade in about 6 months.
• Our foil balloons (more durable than the latex) are also made from best quality Mylar (Nylon 6) which is recyclable at most council recycling points.
